AA-05-PIR Outdoor Audio Alert
IP65 rated Audio Alert with Passive Infrared Detector suitable for outdoor use
The AA-05 Audio Alert is the IP65-rated version of the standard AA-04 Audio Alert. It is a local public address (PA) system for automatic announcements, warnings, information, or instructions suitable for outdoor use.
The AA-05 Audio Alert is an audio alert which is suitable for outdoor settings (IP65 rated). Like the AA-04 Audio Alert, it audibly delivers a pre-programmed message when triggered. The message is heard from a speaker integrated into the compact unit, which is triggered by one of the following options.
- Passive Infrared Detector (PIR)
- Application of 6 – 24VDC
- Programmed Timer
In the standard unit, two messages can be recorded and either one can be selected by a keyswitch.

Fully Custom Options
Optional functions, which are decided at the point of ordering, include volume control and the facility to hear a single message on triggering or to have messages repeated at specified intervals. Message repetition can be delayed for up to an hour. If the device is used in a temporary situation it can be returned to be reprogrammed with an alternative message.
Serious LED also supply a compatible microphone system to allow the customer to record messages in-house. This is useful for applications which require messages to constantly change.
Tamper-Proof
Every care has been taken to make the unit as vandal-proof as possible. The Audio Alert IP65 unit is mounted using a tilt bracket and secured with a padlock. The tilt bracket adjustment screws are tamper-proof.
